Franklin College giving challenge April 21

Franklin College will host its fourth annual Day of Giving Challenge on Thursday to raise money for scholarships.

The money raised will go to the Franklin Fund to provide tuition assistance for need-based financial aid, as well as other expenses.

Ninety five percent of the college’s students receive some form of financial aid, according to a news release from the college.

The college’s goal is to have 500 people make a gift on April 21.

Meeting this number will “unlock” $25,000 from the college’s challengers, who have pledged money toward the goals for this specific day.
