<p>WEST LAFAYETTE</p>
<p>Michael G. Land, 66, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at IU Health in Lafayette. He was a resident of West Lafayette and a former resident of Nineveh.</p>
<p>He was born Sept. 17, 1949, in Franklin to Donald Land Jr. and Mary Rosalie (Wheeler) Land.</p>
<p>He is survived by his father, Donald “Dick” Land of Franklin; stepbrother, Tom Langdon; Aunt, Lou Land; and four cousins.</p>
<p>He was preceded in passing by his mother, Mary Rosalie Land; stepmother, Bernita Land; and brother, Steven Land.</p>
<p>He was a graduate of Nineveh High School.</p>
<p>Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.</p>
<p>He was a member of Nineveh Christian Church.</p>
<p>A celebration of Mike’s life will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, where military honors will be conducted.</p>
