Jimmy W. Harrison

<p>Jimmy W. Harrison, 69 of Nineveh, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016, at Franklin Meadows in Franklin.</p>
<p>He was born June 15, 1946, in Scottsville, Kentucky.</p>
<p>He was the son of Jim and Lola (O’Neal) Harrison.</p>
<p>He married Shirley (McGaha) Harrison on Dec. 10, 1988. She survives.</p>
<p>Also surviving are two sons, Eddie Harrison of Nineveh and Michael (Jen) Harrison of Greenwood; a stepson, Jason (Mary) Harmon of Shelbyville; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Emmitt Harrison, Edward Harrison and David Harrison, and a sister, Mattie Spencer.</p>
<p>He was a member of the Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh.</p>
<p>He had previously owned Harrison Construction. He also had worked for Turner Construction in Shelbyville, and as a truck driver for Blue River Products in Edinburgh.</p>
<p>He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.</p>
<p>Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Lewis Burton on Monday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh. Calling will be from 2 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.</p>
