<p>WANAMAKER</p>
<p>Dennis G. Hunter, 64, of Wanamaker, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.</p>
<p>He was born Oct. 29, 1951, in Zionsville to Don and Luetta (Coval) Hunter.</p>
<p>He married Joyce A. (Lanham) Hunter on Dec. 4, 1976, in Franklin; she survives.</p>
<p>He was a 1970 graduate of Franklin Community High School where he played on the football team.</p>
<p>He worked for his father for many years then owned and operated Hunter Chassis and Alignment until 1995 in Whiteland. He then worked for Stoops Freightliner in Indianapolis till 2000.</p>
<p>He and his wife served as hostess and security at Camp Atterbury for four years.</p>
<p>He loved fishing, camping, old cars, and spending time with his family. He also loved seeing his grandchildren and spending time with them.</p>
<p>Survivors include his wife, Joyce A. (Lanham) Hunter of Wanamaker; son Jason Hunter (Mistie) of Wanamaker, daughters, Stacy Hunter of Indianapolis, Stephanie Hunter-Hill of Indianapolis and Suzanne Flowers (Derrick) of Beech Grove; 12 twelve grandchildren; four brothers Jerry Hunter (Judy) of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Ken Hunter (Tina) of Nashville, Kent Hunter (Elizabeth) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and Mark Hunter (Vicky) of Franklin.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his parents.</p>
<p>A service will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 U.S. 31 South (S. Morton Street) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the service time on Wednesday at the mortuary.</p>
