<p>MORGANTOWN</p>
<p>Edna (Seal) Schrougham, 91, passed away Wednesday morning, May 25, 2016, at Aspen Trace Senior Living Community in Greenwood. She was a resident of Greenwood and a former resident of Morgantown.</p>
<p>Edna was born Nov. 15, 1924, in Sneedville, Tennessee, to the late Fred and Ollie (Collins) Seal.</p>
<p>She married her devoted husband of 67 years, Merrill M. Schrougham, on Dec. 20, 1941, in Nashville. He preceded her in death Aug. 4, 2009.</p>
<p>She attended the Grace Community Church in Edinburgh and was a former member of the Spearsville Wesleyan Church in Brown County.</p>
<p>Edna enjoyed spending time with her family, going to church and playing the card game, Skip-Bo.</p>
<p>Edna is survived by her children, Merrileen (Kenneth) Patrick of Brown County, Kay (Ted) Anderson, Lois (Steve) Wyrick and Patricia Schrougham, all of Greenwood; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ruth “Trudy” Seal of Gorham, Maine, and brother-in-law, Joseph Smith of Bargersville.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her mother, Ollie (Collins) Smith, father, Fred Seal; siblings, Lillie Mae Brock, Phyllis Crafton, Jessie Adams, Iva Kean, Irene Burchett, Lester Smith, Willie Smith and Chester Seal.</p>
<p>In keeping with Edna’s wishes, the Rev. Tommie Phillips will conduct a graveside service at 11 a.m. Saturday at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.</p>
<p>Funeral services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.</p>
