Dan and Mignon Workman of Franklin are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a family trip this summer.
Mr. Workman and his wife, the former Mignon Hopwood, were married May 28, 1966, at University Heights EUB Church.
He retired as a teacher and coach at Franklin Community High School.
She is retired from Johnson County government.
They have two children, Angela (Adam) Koontz and Anissa (Bill) Johnson; and three grandchildren.
