Man trapped between mower, car

A man was taken to an Indianapolis hospital after he became trapped between a lawnmower and a parked car.

Just after 6 p.m. Sunday, emergency workers were called to a home in the 1800 block of West State Road 44, near Franklin. Brady Meeks, Franklin, was standing on the front of the mower, then slipped. On his way down, Meeks pulled one of the steering levers which forced the mower to start moving forward, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office report.

Meeks was then pinned between the mower and the bumper of a vehicle parked nearby, the report said.

Meeks complained of hip pain and was taken to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital. His condition was not available Tuesday.
