<p>Commuters heading north on State Road 37 faced delays when a car went off the road Friday morning.</p>
<p>Just before 7 a.m., a vehicle heading north on State Road 37 went off the road at Olive Branch Road and struck a utility pole.</p>
<p>The driver, Mark P. Rick, 33, Franklin, told police he was reaching for something in his car and went off the road, according to a report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.</p>
<p>He was not injured, the report said.</p>
<p>The crash led to traffic backups and power lanes hanging low that had to be repaired before semis could get through, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.</p>
