Betty Lou Clements

<p>INDIANAPOLIS</p>
<p>Betty Lou Clements, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016, at her residence.</p>
<p>She was born Jan. 25, 1926, in Indianapolis, to the late Lloyd C. and Helen Gertrude Ramsey Williams.</p>
<p>Betty graduated from Oden High School in 1944 and graduated from U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps in 1947.</p>
<p>She worked for Dr. Sears doing house calls, worked at Indiana University Hospital in cancer research and then stayed home to take care of the family. She was a member of Southport United Methodist Church.</p>
<p>Betty was preceded in death by her husband Joe Clements; daughter, Debra Malone.</p>
<p>She is survived by her children, Lisa Guckelberg, Tom Clements; brother, Harold Williams; sisters, Norma Harp, Mary Fish; two grandchildren, Angel Gaskins, Aaron Fort; four great grandchildren, Carter, Landen, Alyssa Gaskins and Eden Fort.</p>
<p>A celebration of Betty’s life will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Southport United Methodist Church 1947 E. Southport Road, Indianapolis, with calling from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.</p>
<p>In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the church.</p>
<p>Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service &amp; Crematory-Greenwood Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements.</p>
