<p>Tools and other items were stolen from at least five vehicles in Greenwood.</p>
<p>Four of the thefts were reported in an area off Worthsville Road and U.S. 31</p>
<p>Three residents in Village Crossing Apartments found that someone had rummaged through their vehicles late Sunday or early Monday. In one case, the thief or thieves stole tools from a vehicle, according to the police report.</p>
<p>Another theft was reported from a vehicle in the first block of Davis Drive, in the Pebble Creek neighborhood, which is across Worthsville Road from the apartments.</p>
<p>A fifth theft was reported from a vehicle at a business in the 100 block of East Main Street, according to the report.</p>
<p>Reports of thefts from vehicles has been increasing with the warmer weather, and police are reminding residents to lock their vehicle doors.</p>
