Starting today, a bridge over Interstate 65 in Franklin will close for the next two months.
Crews will close the bridge on Hurricane Road over the interstate to rebuild it. The work is being done as part of the state’s widening project on I-65 between Greenwood and Franklin.
The closure was scheduled to begin after the new roundabout at Whiteland and Graham roads opened.
Traffic will be detoured around the closure using County Road 300N to Graham Road and then to Whiteland Road, according to a news release from the Indiana Department of Transportation.
