2100 block of Olympia Drive: A man reported at 12:54 a.m. Wednesday that he saw someone try and break into his vehicle.
Counterfeiting
Murphy Oil, 2121 U.S. 31 North: An employee reported at 2:48 p.m. Tuesday that someone paid with a counterfeit $5 bill. The customer said he was given the bill to him in change from a restaurant or grocery store in Franklin.
Thefts
- 800 block of N. Main Street: A man reported at 9:37 a.m. Tuesday that a bike was stolen from his residence.
- 2800 block of U.S. 31: A man reported at 5:48 p.m. Tuesday that he was missing prescription medication from his mailbox.

100 block of Chestnut Drive: Police responded at 8:01 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a car window that was shot out with a BB.

- 1000 block of Greenwood Springs Drive: Police responded at 11:01 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a missing television.
- Dick’s Sporting Goods, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 7:11 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a cellphone.

- Von Maur, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday to a report of shoplifting.
- Kroger, 2200 Independence Drive: Police responded at 10:04 p.m. Tuesday to a report of shoplifting. A man was arrested.

- 5:58 p.m. Monday — North State Road 135, and Stonegate Road. Britney Klotzshe, 16, Franklin and Sheila Corey, 47, Indianapolis. Corey reported chest pain.
- 11:42 a.m. Friday — Main Street at Interstate 65. Russell C. Burk, 67, Indianapolis and Tyler Seawell, 21, Hiram. Hiram had back pain.
