New decorative stoplights are going up on East King Street near Interstate 65 as part of a massive construction project to create a gateway and improve the roadway in Franklin.
The city is adding new landscaping, lighting and decorative features as part of a project to create a new entrance into the city off the interstate. Crews are also building a roundabout on Paris Drive, adding new pillars and other decorative features and a new trail. The project likely won’t be finished until next year.
