Clyde L. Duncan

GREENWOOD

Clyde L. Duncan, 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 31, 2016, surrounded by his family at his Greenwood residence.

Born Oct. 25, 1937, in Indianapolis to the late Arthur H. and Flodora (Bradley) Duncan, he attended Emmerich Manual High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He was a general contractor and co-owned Reyco Enterprises Inc. from 1983 to 2007.

Prior to that he was a salesman for American Housing and Davis Homes.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Martha (Williamson) Duncan; children, Julie Mingus (Greg), Marcia Pashley (Tim), Melissa Nevitt (Jeff) and James Duncan; siblings, Paul Duncan, Gerald Duncan and Martha Sesslar; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Larry Duncan; and siblings, Arthur Duncan, Donald Duncan and Virginia Hight.

Clyde will be remembered as a wonderful Husband, amazing Dad and loyal friend.

Memorial visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 125, followed by the celebration of life service at 11 a.m. Military rites will be conducted.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wheeler Mission. He will be laid to rest in the Freedom Plaza at The Gardens at Olive Branch Cemetery.
