Joe H. and Marianne Garrett of Franklin are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Garrett and his wife, the former Marianne Duckworth, were married July 7, 1946 at Union Christian Church in Franklin.
He is a retired farmer.
She is a retired Franklin Community Schools school bus driver, and also is retired from farming.
They are the parents of Joey R. Garrett (Patsy), Joyce Garrett, Joanne Garrett Spencer (Mark) and John Mark Garrett (Cindy), all of Franklin. They have seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
