<p>Mrs. Christeen Brown, 87, formerly of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016.</p>
<p>She was born Dec. 25, 1928, in Richmond, to Walter E. and Ruth Hoover Mikesell, who preceded her in death.</p>
<p>She was a graduate of Whitewater High School and Earlham College.</p>
<p>Mrs. Brown was formerly a secretary at Perfect Circle. She taught English at Williamsburg High School. She later was a sales representative for Leiters Designer Fabrics and sales director and representative for Mary Kay Cosmetics. She was a member of West Richmond Friends Meeting.</p>
<p>Mrs. Brown was a member and Past President of Tri Kappa Sorority, Delta Zeta Chapter; Past Vice-Chairperson of the Wayne County Republican Party and a member of the Dayton, Ohio Kennel Club.</p>
<p>She always enjoyed a round of golf and was a member of Forest Hills Country Club, Richmond Women’s Golf Association and the Eastern Indiana Women’s Golf Association.</p>
<p>Mrs. Brown will be missed by her husband of 65 years, Robert F. “Bob” Brown; daughter, Lora Brown Money; sister, Martha Mikesell Wood; and one niece and three nephews.</p>
<p>A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 U.S. 27 South, Fountain City.</p>
