Hearts & Darts – August 22

Hearts

The Johnson County Community Foundation would like to give a big "heart" to Bargersville, Franklin and Greenwood communities for coming out to support our inaugural year of Color the County mural program. Your excitement and participation in this fun 25th anniversary event was memorable. The enthusiasm at our community painting days and interest in being a part of a public art project, goes beyond words. We cannot wait to start planning our 2017 Mural projects. Thank you.

Hearts to John Collins and Alex Krutz of Whiteland utilities, for outstanding customer service and being good people. I had a major water leak and could not figure out where it was coming from. I called Alex and she sent John to help me find it. He crawled under my house three times looking for the leak. Alex helped me with my bill. Also, hearts to Scott Shepard of Quality Water Solutions for coming out free of charge to check if my water softener was the cause of my leak. Luckily it wasn’t but thanks for being there for me.

A huge dart to whoever is in charge of synchronizing the stop lights from Earlywood Drive to Walmart in Franklin. Maybe you are getting prepared for Meijer but, it’s not here yet. I waited two minutes for the light to change and the backup was almost to Knollwood. At Flinn Maguire, the wait almost was just as long. I’m sure I am not the only person irritated.
