Plainfield (2-2) at Greenwood (4-0)

Notable: Close games have not been a thing with these two schools — each of the past 13 meetings has been decided by more than 10 points.

Avon (2-2) at Whiteland (1-3)

Webcast: wchsradio.cpcsc.k12.in.us

Recent history: The series went on a lengthy hiatus after Avon’s 23-0 win in 1998, but the two meetings since have been more of the same — the Orioles won 38-12 in 2014 and 34-0 last year.

Notable: Avon junior receiver Luke Shayotovich has already pulled down 22 receptions this season. This is twice as many pass completions as Whiteland has as a team.

Indian Creek (2-2) at Triton Central (3-1)

South Decatur (2-2) at Edinburgh (1-3)

Kickoff: 7 p.m.

Notable: Throughout his career, Allen has rushed for 2,517 yards and 33 touchdowns.
