A downtown Greenwood street is closed after a building was struck by a vehicle.
The front of the building at 320 W. Main St. is in danger of collapsing after being struck either late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, according to a news release from Greenwood police.
Because of the risk of collapse, police have shut down westbound Main Street, west of Madison Avenue, until the building can be stabilized, the release said.
Police believe a large truck or semi likely struck the building and then left. Anyone who may have seen the crash or who has any information is asked to call Greenwood police at 317-882-9191.
