Bill and Martha (Hyatt) Duke of Franklin are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Duke and his wife, the former Martha Hyatt, were married Nov. 10, 1946, in Franklin. A private family celebration will be conducted.
Bill retired in 1968 from Reliance Electric in Columbus, and Martha retired from Fifth Third Bank, formerly Bargersville State Bank, in 1989.
The couple have five children, David (Chella) Duke, Carolyn (David) Billingsley, James, Scott (Nancy) and Jeff (Tess) Duke; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
