Girls basketball

Woodmen fall to Bishop Chatard

Greenwood was defeated by Indianapolis Bishop Chatard 56-43 on Saturday to drop its record to 2-3.

Taylor Walker had 10 points and two 3-pointers in the game, while Leah Moore added nine points, all on free throws. Defensively, Alex Kincaid led with nine rebounds, two steals, and a block.

Decatur Central tops GCA

Greenwood Christian Academy lost to Decatur Central 51-26. The loss puts the Cougars’ record at 1-2.

Grace Peters led GCA with 10 points and seven rebounds. Alexis Mead followed with eight points.

Rund leads Braves to victory

Indian Creek defeated Monrovia 75-43 at home Saturday for its first victory of the season.

Addie Rund led the Braves (1-2) with 22 points and five assists.

Rebels pummel Guerin

Roncalli beat Guerin Catholic at home Saturday, 61-25.

Offensively, Katelyn McClary led Roncalli (2-1) with 12 points. Alana Vinson, Elle Bischoff and Sophie Daniel all followed behind with 10 apiece. Daniel also led the team in blocked shots with three.
