Elizabeth J. “Betty” Kennedy, 84, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2016. She was a resident of Greenwood.
She was born Oct. 12, 1932, in Indianapolis.
Her memory and legacy as “Nanny” carry on through her husband, Robert Kennedy; her children, Debbie Jackson, Richard Robert Kennedy and Debbie K. Broyles; grandchildren, Julie Jackson, Tina Rogers, Emily Kennedy, Erica Kennedy, Andrew Kennedy, Kelsey Broyles and Adam Broyles; and great-grandchildren, Kayla, Kameron, Olivia, Ivan and Claire.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Rumple; and her great-granddaughter, Hannah Gooch.
Nanny enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services are private.
Arrangements were entrusted to Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care.
