A shooting involving a juvenile in Greenwood is under investigation. The incident happened just after 1 p.m. Sunday.
Multiple officers were called to a home in the 1700 block of Westwood Street, near U.S. 31 and Stop 18 Road, on a report of a person shot, according to the police report.
Greenwood police declined to give any more details on the incident on Monday, because it involved a juvenile.
That included information on who fired the shot, who was shot and the seriousness of any injuries and whether the shooting was accidental.
They referred questions to the Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office. The prosecutor’s office also declined to release any information since the case involves a juvenile.
