Kathleen ‘Kay’ Chittenden

<p>INDIANAPOLIS</p>
<p>Kathleen “Kay” Chittenden, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away, Monday, Nov. 14, 2016.</p>
<p>She was born on Oct. 29, 1926, in Holdingford, Minnesota, to the late Nicholas and Katherine Kotzer. Kay served as a tireless and energetic volunteer for many years and was recognized by Christ United Methodist Church, Veteran’s Hospital in Indianapolis (23 years and serving over 17,000 hours), Goodwill, USO, Fletcher Place (Angel Award, 2004). She was devoted to family and friends and was well known for her cooking skills. She managed the annual rummage sales at Christ United Methodist Church for many years and was a member of the Hands &amp; Hearts Sunday School Class.</p>
<p>Kay is survived by her daughters, Lynette Graves, Janette Koon (Walter); brother, David Kotzer; sister, Irene Peka.</p>
<p>A funeral service will be at noon Tuesday at Christ United Methodist Churchm 8540 U.S. 31 S., with calling from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.</p>
