GREENWOOD
Donnie Lee Smith Jr., 59, of Greenwood, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016, at Richard L. Roudebush V.A. Medical Center in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Peake) Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. (Peake) Smith of Greenwood; two sons, Christopher Lee Smith (Joy) of Goose Creek, South Carolina and Daniel Lee Smith of Indianapolis, two daughters, Rachel Leighan Krieg (John) of Louisville, Kentucky, and Clarissa Brooke Smith of Indianapolis; and six grandchildren.
The Rev. Keith Williams will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 U.S. 31 South (Morton Street) in Franklin with full military honors to follow. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until the service time on Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
