INDIANAPOLIS
Melvin Joseph “Joe” Covert, 92, of Indianapolis, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2016.
Survivors include his two sons, Ron D. (Rochelle) and Steven R. (Connie) Covert; three grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
Melvin is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Irene (Mitchell) Covert.
Visitation will be 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis, with a funeral service to be conducted by Pastor Michael Johnson starting at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
