Harold R. Wilson

<p>INDIANAPOLIS</p>
<p>Harold R. Wilson, 84, Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, surrounded by his family.</p>
<p>Born Nov. 15, 1932, in Liberty, Kentucky, to the late Willie and Esta Wilson, he attended Liberty High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from General Motors after 38 years of service.</p>
<p>He attended Greenwood Christian Church.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Virginia Wilson and daughter in-law, Christina Wilson; siblings, Jean Johnston, Leo Wilson, Ivan Wilson, Veltha (Tom) True, Dee (Howard) Lay.</p>
<p>Survivors include a son, Steven R. (Jody) Wilson; grandsons, Brad A. (Kelly) Wilson, Nick A. (Monica) Wilson; granddaughters, Jordan and Katie Strong; two great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Waylon Wilson; siblings, Carl (Jo) Wilson, Dale (Sheila) Wilson, Kenneth (Jeanie) Wilson, Paul (Sharon) Wilson and Patricia Wilson; in-laws, Norma Wilson, Lois Wilson; and many nieces, nephews and Jan.</p>
<p>Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, with the funeral service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.</p>
