Man arrested on dealing charge

A man was arrested and charged with dealing methamphetamine after an undercover investigation.

Kenneth R. Swinehart, 31, Indianapolis, was charged with dealing methamphetamine.

In August, an undercover detective began texting with Swinehart to set up a drug deal, and the two met at an apartment complex. Swinehart sold the officer 1.2 gram of methamphetamine for $120, according to the charging information.

The officer tried to set up a second deal with Swinehart but was unable to, the report said.

Swinehart, 1645 Asbury St., was arrested and taken to the Johnson County jail, where he was released on $3,300 bond.
