Dollar General, 1872 Northwood Plaza: A woman reported at 4:36 p.m. Tuesday that she purchased iTunes gift cards after someone called and told her to as part of a program to earn more money. The call was fraudulent.
Counterfeiting
Circle K., 2105 E. King Street: An employee reported at 1:43 p.m. Tuesday that she found a fake $20 bill when she was counting down the drawer.
Thefts
200 block of Young Street: A woman reported at 11:32 a.m. Tuesday that someone stole a piece of furniture that she had stored on her porch.
600 block of Johnson Avenue: A woman reported at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday that a digital camera was missing from her home.
600 block of Duane Street: A man reported at 9:13 p.m. Tuesday that someone entered his garage and stole a bike and speaker.
Burglary
Franklin Self Storage, 771 S. State St.: A man reported at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday that someone broke into his storage unit and stole tool boxes, clothes, boots, speakers, a computer, a digital music player, a guitar, DVDs, a gun, a car stereo and assorted vitamins.
