In September, police were called to Aunt Betty’s Storage, 444 N. Emerson Ave., where multiple storage units had the locks cut. Thieves had taken tools, guns, a ladder, uniforms and clothing, the report said.

Surveillance video showed a vehicle and two men cutting a lock and taking items. The men were later identified through tips as King and Chavez, the report said.

King, 565 S. Arlington Ave., was arrested and taken to the Johnson County jail. His bond information was not available.

Chavez, 2926 E. 17th St., was arrested and taken to the Johnson County jail, where he was held on $5,800.
