Take a look at the new Cummins office building in downtown Indy

Cummins Inc. unveiled its new offices in downtown Indianapolis this morning

Located at 301 E. Market St. in downtown Indianapolis, the nine-story building encompasses one full city block where the former Market Square Arena — once home to the NBA’s Indiana Pacers — was located, and eventually demolished in 2001.

Cummins Chairman and CEO Tom Linebarger, Distribution Business President Tony Satterthwaite and architect Deborah Berke of Deborah Berke Partners were joined at the ribbon-cutting ceremony by Gov.-elect Eric Holcomb, Lt. Gov.-elect Suzanne Crouch and Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett.

The project, more than three years in the making, taps into the Fortune 200 company’s long history of blending unique architectural style with the needs of employees, customers and visitors, and tying into the community, company officials said.
