Greenwood United Methodist Church, 525 N Madison Ave., will host the “Greenwood’s Got Talent” variety show and dessert auction on Feb. 24.

The show begins at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

Thomas Episcopal Church, 600 Paul Hand Blvd., Franklin, will offer a Shrove Tuesday and Mardi Gras pancake supper on Feb. 28.

The meal will be 5 to 7 p.m. It will include a toppings bar.

Cost is $5 per person or $10 per family.

Grace United Methodist Church, 1300 E. Adams St., Franklin, will celebrate the beginning of Lent at 7 p.m. March 1 with Service of Ashes in the sanctuary.

Childcare will be provided, and a special children’s session will also take place.

Tabernacle Christian Church, 198 N. Water St., Franklin, will offer a soup luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 3.

Sandwich, soup, dessert and drink will be $7. Dine in or carryout. Delivery is available. Call 317-736-5088 by 1 p.m. March 2.

First Separate Baptist Church of Franklin, 300 E. Ohio St., Franklin, will host The Perrys at 7 p.m. March 9.

Admission is free. An offering will be accepted; all are welcome.

Franklin Community Church, 2005 Upper Shelbyville Road, will welcome the African Children’s Choir in a special performance March 10. The concert will start at 7 p.m.

The program features well-loved children’s songs, traditional spirituals and gospel favorites. Concerts are free and open to all. A free-will offering is taken at the performance to support African Children’s Choir programs, such as education, care and relief and development programs.

St. Mark the Evangelist Parish, 535 E. Edgewood Ave., Indianapolis, will celebrate its annual Disabilities Awareness Mass at 5:30 p.m. March 11.

The purpose of the Mass is to raise awareness of the importance and value that individuals with disabilities bring to both St. Mark Parish and to the community. Several of St. Mark’s disabled parishioners will actively participate in the Mass. There will be a reception in St. Mark Schafer Hall immediately following the Mass.
