Cigarettes taken from Franklin gas station

A large amount of cigarettes were stolen overnight from a Franklin gas station, and police are asking for anyone with information about the theft to contact them.

Police responded to an alarm about 2:20 a.m. Monday at Phillips 66, 400 E. Jefferson St. The front glass door to the business was broken, and a large amount of cigarettes had been stolen, a Franklin Police Department news release said.
