Activities at church

First Baptist Church, 99 W. Main St., Greenwood, are hosting several Easter activities leading up to the holiday.

The Palm Sunday worship service will be at 10:15 a.m. April 9, featuring the cantata “Amazing Love, How Can It Be.” The Maundy Thursday service will be at 6:30 p.m. April 13, and will include foot washing and communion.

The church’s Easter egg hunt will be at 10 a.m. April 15, with the Easter servic eat 10:15 a.m. April 16.

Franklin Nazarene Church, 140 Branigin Road, Franklin, will host an Easter egg hunt April 15.

The event is from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and is free. Children ages 3 to 12 can participate. There will also be games.

Prince of Peace United Church of Christ, 3050 W. Smokey Row Road, Bargersville, will present a free workshop on preventing online fraud starting at 6:30 p.m. April 25.

The presentation will cover the latest scams and techniques used by fraudsters, credit reports, freezing credit and reporting fraud.

The speaker will be Kelly Griese, an investor education coordinator at the Indiana Secretary of State’s office.

Smith Valley Baptist Church, 4682 W. Smith Valley Road, Greenwood, will offer a Ladies Spring Tea on April 29.

The event will begin at 11 am. Enjoy guest speaker Lori Ferguson, fashion accessories boutique, luncheon, and beautifully decorated tables.
