Center Grove choirs are hosting a Princess Tea in June, where youngsters can get a princess make-over, sip tea, nibble on cookies and meet students dressed like famous princesses.

How did you get the idea for the event?

The costumes were used for a Debtone show, and one of the director’s daughters loved seeing them on stage. After the season ended, we came up with the idea to use the dresses in a new way which would benefit the community and the choral department. The princess tea was created to provide local girls the opportunity to meet their favorite princesses.
