Central Indiana Writers’ Association author event

Central Indiana Writers’ Association and Greenwood Public Library will present an evening with a local children’s author, Katie Andrews Potter, on May 15.

Potter will read from her young adult series “The Wayfaring Sisters” and answer questions about the writing process during the event, which will start at 6 p.m.

Potter researches her family history and turns the facts into fiction, as she’s done with her books, “Going Over Home” and “Going Over Jordan.”

Potter grew up in Carmel and now resides on the east side of Indianapolis with her husband and two children, whom she homeschools.
