Concordia Lutheran Church, 305 Howard Road, Greenwood, will host “A Mighty Fortress” free Vacation Bible School on June 19 through 23.
The hours are 9 to 11:30 a.m. A free program and carnival will take place in the evening of June 22.

Saints Francis & Clare Roman Catholic Church, 5901 W. Olive Branch Road, Greenwood, will host its annual fall festival Art in the Park Sept. 22 and 23. The festival will be 5 to 9 p.m. Sept. 22 and noon to 9 p.m. Sept. 23.
The church is calling for artists to present their work at the festival. Local artists will display and sell their masterpieces indoors while local wines and desserts are offered. Artists should contact [email protected] or visit ss-fc.org to apply.
