Four Things: WCHS Cheerleading Clinic

Aspiring cheerleaders can learn the basics during a clinic at Whiteland Community High School.

High school cheerleading coach Jennifer Killebrew tells you what you need to know.

<strong>When is the clinic?</strong>

Noon to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 12. Final registration is from 11:30 a.m. to noon.

<strong>How much does it cost?</strong>

$30. Participants also get a T-shirt and admission into a Whiteland Community High School football game. Registrations and checks can be mailed or taken to the high school athletic office, 222 Tracy St., Whiteland.

<strong>Who can attend?</strong>

The clinic is open to all girls in grades kindergarten through sixth and is open to participants in surrounding school districts.

<strong>What will be taught?</strong>

Girls attending the clinic will learn sidelines, a cheer, a dance, jumps and basic stunts. Every girl is also invited to perform with the high school cheerleaders during pregame or halftime of the football game on Aug. 18.
