Indian Creek defeats Owen Valley

Indian Creek beat Owen Valley in three straight sets Wednesday 25-14, 25-16, 25-10. Taylor Burkett led the Braves (16-5) with 11 kills while Tori Travers added six digs.

Warriors fall to Southport

Despite nine kills from Toni Joyner and 29 assists from Tabby Holzhausen, Whiteland fell to Southport in four sets, 25-16, 29-31, 25-18, 25-15.

Trojans battle to draw

Class 3A No. 12 Center Grove finished in a 0-0 deadlock with New Palestine on Wednesday.

Center Grove sweeps Bull Dogs

The Trojans swept Columbus North 5-0 on Wednesday.

Trey Thixton, Nic Ballesteros and J.T. Embrey won the three singles points.

The Center Grove doubles teams of Eli Lawyer-Smith and Mitch Runkle (No. 1) and Mason Runkle and Grant Herron (No. 2) were also victorious.

Warriors beat Martinsville

Whiteland defeated Martinsville 3-2 on Wednesday.

Caleb Scott and Corey Ullrich won at No. 2 and 3 singles, and the No. 2 doubles team of Lane Stephenson and Travis Robinson was also victorious for the Warriors (14-4, 3-3 Mid-State).

Grizzly Cubs blank Braves

Franklin traveled to Indian Creek on Wednesday and beat the Braves 5-0.

Jonah Rockey, Logan Snyder and Josiah Rockey clinched singles wins for the Grizzly Cubs. Andy Bennett and Corbin Burton won at No. 1 doubles, and Hunter Ankney and Dustin Hamblen earned a point at No. 2.

Greenwood defeats Bull Dogs

Jacob Gray and Ethan Gray won at No. 1 and 2 singles to lead Greenwood to a 3-2 win over Columbus North Tuesday.

The doubles team of Jacob Rothaar and Ben Sobieray also brought home a win for the Woodmen.

Volleyball add to winning streak

Franklin College beat St. Mary-of-the-Woods on Wednesday 25-21, 25-23, 25-21.

Brooke Harvey had 14 kills to lead the Grizzlies (9-4) and Gab Arthur had 11 kills and 10 digs. Libby Stahl led the defensive effort with 22 digs.
