Hearts & Darts – November 6

Hearts

A big heart to the Glick Fund at the Central Indiana Community Foundation for the grant to the Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County. These funds will be used to provide food to hungry families in Johnson County, nearly 2,000 families every month. A thank you, also, to Northwood Apartments in Franklin for recommending our pantry to receive this grant. Thanks for making a difference in our community.

A big thank you to Franklin Family Dentistry for sponsoring the Interchurch Food Pantry for a day on Nov. 1, allowing us to provide food to 80 to 100 families. They also volunteered their time, made a video and are collecting food. Kudos for all they did!

Thanks to everyone who supported the Harvest Walk 2017. Johnson County rocks! Two hundred and fifty supporters came together to walk and contribute 2,800 pounds of food and over $8,000 to fight hunger in Johnson County and around the world. And a special thanks to the Franklin and Whiteland fire departments and the Franklin Police Department who helped to make our walk safe for everyone. Thanks to all!
