Families interested in volunteering to host a child in need in their homes for up to three weeks at a time are asked to attend an informational session.
Youth Connections will explain the host home program, what is asked of residents who volunteer to host a child in need and the training and guidance that is offered in a meeting Nov. 28.
The need for host homes is critical, as Youth Connections can only call on two homes across the county at this time.
The session is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Franklin branch of the Johnson County Public Library, 401 S. State St.
