The county’s unemployment rate dropped slightly last month.
In October, 2.9 percent of Johnson County workers were unemployed, compared to 3.3 percent in October 2016, according to a report from the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
The rate also was slightly down from the month before, when the rate was 3 percent, the report said.
Johnson County was one of about 20 counties in the state whose unemployment was below 3 percent last month.
Statewide, the rate was 3.9 percent, and nationwide, the rate was 4.1 percent, according to the report.
