WHITELAND
David Wayne Church, 67, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN. He was a resident of Whiteland, IN.
He was born on August 27, 1950 in Franklin, IN to Kenneth and Jeannette (Duncan) Church. He married Linda McMillin on September 27, 1996. She lovingly survives. Other survivors include his mother Jeannette Church of Sparks, NV; sons Michael Hussung (Deidra) of Franklin, IN, Bryan Hussung (Jennifer) of Greenwood, IN; daughter Jenny Thomas (Kurt) of Indianapolis, IN; brother Dan Church of Reno, NV; grandchildren Madison, Ally, Macy, Kenna, Hudson, and Tucker. He was preceded in passing by his father Kenneth.
David was a graduate of Greenwood High School class of 1968.
He was a U.S. Marine.
He owned/operated Dave’s Guns for over 20 years.
David was a member of the VFW; Victory Christian Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Rev. Rick Davis will conduct a celebration of David’s Life on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Victory Christian Church, 1720 North Graham Road in Franklin. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin are assisting the family with arrangements. Military honors will be conducted immediately following the celebration.
