Loretta “Lori” G. Phillips, 67, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018. “‘This is a picture of our wedding day, the vows were: ’til death do us part, you have departed, my heart is broke, my soul is empty, but I will see you again. Love Don.” She was born to Mitchell and Wendy Owen in Beth Page, TN, on March 14, 1951.
Lori graduated college from Ohio State with her Master’s Degree. She worked for ITT for 23 years as a recruiter. Presently, she was working for Brightwood College, where she had been working for 5 years. Lori loved to garden. She had a knack for doing floral arrangements. She and a partner owned Seasoning Surprises Floral Shop for a period of time. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Lori is survived by her husband of 25 years, Don Phillips of Franklin; son, Jared (Crystal) Cravens of Morgantown; two sisters, Vickie (Dan) Williams of Greenwood, Glenda (Mike) Young of Greenwood; a brother, Mitchell Owen of Greenwood; and five grandchildren.
Lori was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Wendy Owen, and a son, Justin Cravens.
