TRAFALGAR

Carol Joan (Cline) Litteral, age 75, passed away all too soon on Friday, April 20, 2018 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Trafalgar.

Carol was born December 14, 1942, in Johnson County to the late Thomas and Wanda B. (King) Cline. She was a 1960 graduate of Nineveh High School and later married Bobby Ronald Litteral on June 2, 1961 at the Smith Valley Baptist Church in Greenwood. He preceded her in death on March 21, 2018 after 56 devoted years of marriage.

Carol worked as a mail carrier in the Franklin area for the United States Postal Service until August 2006. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, baking and sewing. She loved to cook for others and was known for her chili, brownies and pineapple upside down cake. Carol loved shopping and going to flea markets and garage sales. Most of all, she loved her family.

She will be missed by her children: Jeff Litteral of Trafalgar, Colleena Duffer of Franklin, Carlene (Brad) McCarter of Vincennes and Eric Litteral of Trafalgar; grandchildren: Bridget Duffer and Kayle Duffer and great-grandchild: Marley Duffer; brother, Allen (Regina) Ford of Trafalgar; and Uncle, Dale King of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby; and three infant children: Timothy, Kathy and Robert Litteral.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25th at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
