GREENWOOD
D. Darrell Miller, 82, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. He was a long time Greenwood resident.
He was born September 29, 1935 in Harlan County, KY to William A. and Ruby (Goshen) Miller. He married Carol Dearinger on July 24, 1960 in Marion County. Survivors include two sons, Tom Coffey of New Whiteland, IN and Darrell (Kimberly) Miller of Bargersville, IN; one daughter, Tari S. (Terry) Nations of Acworth, GA; one brother, Ronnie Lee (Phyllis) Miller of Martinsville, IN; and two grandchildren, Nathan Heffley of Marietta, GA and Tyler Lee Miller of Bargersville, IN. He was preceded by one son, Steven Glenn Miller in 1970.
Darrell was an owner/operator of three Shell stations in Indianapolis for many years. He also had worked at the Phillips 66 station along County Line Road in Greenwood.
Visitation will take place from 12:30-1:30PM, Tuesday, at Wilson St.Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main Street. Rev. Shan Rutherford will officiate a graveside service at 2PM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
