<p>Woodmen split with Franklin</p>
<p>A three-run homer by T.J. Bass helped Greenwood split a pair of 4-1 games with Franklin on Saturday.</p>
<p>Jordan Martin earned a complete-game victory in the nightcap for the Woodmen (3-6, 3-5 Mid-State), striking out eight. The Grizzly Cubs won the opener for starter Luke Miles, who had an RBI and pitched six strong innings.</p>
<p>Warriors fall twice in tournament</p>
<p>Playing in a Saturday tourney at Franklin Central, Whiteland dropped close games to West Vigo (5-3) and the host Flashes (7-6).</p>
<p>Alex Reed had a big day at the plate for the Warriors (5-6), hitting a home run and driving in six runs.</p>
<p>Shorthanded Lancers drop two</p>
<p>Edinburgh rallied with four runs in the seventh inning to tie the game up, but eight errors proved too much to overcome in a 9-8 eight-inning loss to Eminence on Saturday.</p>
<p>Zach Giles had a home run and two RBIs in defeat for the Lancers, who also dropped a 7-0 matchup with Indianapolis Lutheran earlier in the day.</p>

<p>Host Trojans dominate tourney</p>
<p>Class 4A No. 1 Center Grove continued its unbeaten run, improving to 14-0 with five-inning wins over Columbus North and Jennings County at the Trojan Classic on Saturday.</p>
<p>The Trojans defeated the Bull Dogs 10-0 and used a six-run fourth inning to bury the Panthers, 11-1.</p>
<p>Dominique Proctor doubled in a pair of runs to help Greenwood defeat Columbus North, 4-2. The Woodmen were beaten by Jennings County, 10-2.</p>
<p>Lancers split with Lutheran</p>
<p>Maddi Clark hit a home run and struck out 14 to lift Edinburgh to a 3-1 victory over Indianapolis Lutheran in the front half of a Saturday doubleheader.</p>
<p>The Saints, who edged the Lancers in a Class A semistate game last spring, won the second game, 12-2. Sidney Beier had a two-run homer in the loss for Edinburgh (7-3).</p>
<p>Boys golf</p>
<p>Grizzly Cubs place second</p>
<p>Buoyed by a round of 71 from medalist Javan Johnson, Franklin finished second in a Saturday tournament at Clarksville. Damon Dickey added a 79 for the Grizzly Cubs.</p>
