Mary Elizabeth Williams, 87, passed away early Tuesday morning, April 24th, 2018 in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin.
</p>
<p>
She was born on September 4th, 1930 in Franklin, Indiana to Howard Leo Eades and Virginia Lou (Scott) Murray. She married Robert L. "Butter" Williams on September 9th, 1948. He lovingly survives. She is also survived by their children, Deborah (Stacey) Gill, Bruce (Debra) Williams and Luann (Robert) Colin; grandchildren, Joe (Carol) Gill, Christopher (Megan) Williams, John (Mindy) Williams, Sarah (Brad) Beeson, Katie (Scott) Sylte, Rebecca (Jeff) Bunch. Other survivors include great-grandchildren, Danielle Gill, Carter Williams, Lucas Williams, Emma and Katie Williams, Chase, Landon &amp; Trent Beeson, Grace and Luke Sylte, Hunter and Charlotte Bunch and brothers and sisters, Jerry (Linda) Eades, Larry (Shirley) Eades, Lydia Ann (Rick) Barnett and Laura Sue Tearman. She was preceded in passing by her parents; her Aunt Valeria and Uncle Bill Moore; brothers and sisters Harry Webster "Butch" (Beckie) Murray, Twanette (Willard) Logsdon, and Valerie Mae (Clarence) Hooes.

Mary Elizabeth was a graduate of Franklin High School.
</p>
<p>
She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin. She was also a member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority and the Hillview Country Club.
</p>
<p>
Mary Elizabeth was the Director of Volunteer Services for Johnson Memorial Hospital for twenty-one years, retiring in 1986.
</p>
<p>
She enjoyed life as a mother, grandmother and great grandmother and homemaker.
</p>
<p>
Rev. Andy Kinsey will conduct a celebration of Mary Elizabeth’s life on Friday, April 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, April 26th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
