<p>Edinburgh took an early lead but was unable to slow the Seymour offense in a 17-3 road loss on Thursday. Maddi Clark and Vanessa McManaway each had two hits for the Lancers (11-7), with Clark driving in a pair of runs.</p>
<p><strong>Braves crush Owen Valley</strong></p>
<p>Michaela Denney drove in five runs to help lead Indian Creek to a 16-0 win over Owen Valley on Wednesday. </p>

<p><strong>Grizzly Cubs keep rolling</strong></p>
<p>No. 26 Franklin rolled to a 5-0 win over Shelbyville on Thursday. Kate Heuchan, Emma Genter and Daryn Hyneman swept the singles points, giving up just 11 games combined.</p>
<p>Allison Bennett and Rachel Pinnick won at No. 1 doubles for the Grizzly Cubs (13-1), while Hayley Rayl and Nina Smith picked up a win at No. 2.</p>
<p><strong>Woodmen fall to Bull Dogs</strong></p>
<p>Emily Chatham rallied for a three-set victory at No. 1 singles, but that was the only point that Greenwood could muster in a 4-1 loss against 14th-ranked Columbus North on Thursday.</p>

<p>Edinburgh lost to Indianapolis Lutheran on Thursday, 4-1, despite a three-set victory from Destiney Ramey and Haven Link at No. 1 doubles.</p>

<p><strong>Warriors edge Cardinals in three-way</strong></p>
<p>Medalist Zach Ricketts shot a 40 to help Whiteland squeak past Southport, 168 to 169, in a three-way match with Indianapolis Lutheran on Thursday.</p>
<p>Walt Brady added a 42 for the Warriors, while Evan Bunten and Jacob Johnson each finished with a 43.</p>

<p><strong>Softball drops NCAA opener</strong></p>
<p>Managing just two hits on the day, Franklin College suffered a 3-0 loss against Calvin College in its first-ever NCAA Division III tournament game on Thursday.</p>
<p>Lexi Gaffney had a base hit for the Grizzlies (29-11), who return to action in the double-elimination regional at 11 a.m. today.</p>
<p><strong>Baseball begins tourney with win</strong></p>
<p>Ryan Bixler hit a pair of solo home runs to lead host Franklin College to a 9-6 win over Manchester in the HCAC baseball tournament.</p>
<p>Nick Wright drove in two runs and Mitchell Caster got the relief win for the top-seeded Grizzlies (36-3), who will face No. 3 seed Rose-Hulman today at 12:30 p.m.</p>
