Locals miss cut at Western Junior
Center Grove graduates Sam Jean and Noah Gillard fell short of the cut line after the second round of the Western Junior Championship in Skokie, Illinois on Wednesday.
Jean shot a 4-over-par 74 in round two to finish with a total of 145, three strokes off of the cut. Former Trojan teammate Gillard was one shot back at 146 after shooting a second straight 73. The top 44 players in the 156-man field advanced to today’s third round.
